Here are some suggestions on helping your child with their homework for
my class.
- Flashcards

I have a quiz every Friday on their words of the week. I
suggest that if your child is having difficulty with these quizzes
please create flashcards for them. On each quiz I ask them to
spell the word and than to give me its definition.
- Use the Internet
-
About once a month your child will receive a map of a
region. They also receive a list of countries, cities, bodies of
water, and mountain ranges that they must place on the map.
Please help your child in using the internet to find these
places. I will have links to various web sites pertaining to
that month's region to help you and your child.
